DESPITE being just three months into 2026, one thing is clear: this year is set to be the sexiest yet.
We've already seen Emily Ratajkowski, 34, go totally naked to show off her Gucci 'tan line', leaving nothing to the imagination.
And just days ago, Megan Fox stripped down and made an epic Instagram return as she proudly showed off her curves in a tiny thong and sexy stockings.
Not only this but earlier this week Kylie Jenner looked hotter than ever as she licked icing off a cake whilst posing in a tiny yellow bra for a Kylie Cosmetics advert.
But according to Brand and Culture expert Nick Ede, the huge rise of sexy snaps prove that 2026 is shaping up to be "the sexiest year yet for celebrity culture."
According to the PR guru, Maya Jama posing in nothing but fur, Sydney Sweeney seducing fans in her most risqué lingerie look yet and Abbey Clancy doing a sexy Valentine's Day strip are much more than just "daring" snaps.
Nick told us: "What we're seeing isn't just about lingerie shoots or daring selfies but it's about confidence, control and understanding exactly how the modern attention economy works."
After Amanda Holden celebrated her 55th birthday with a risqué photoshoot and Paris Hilton posed naked while strategically covering herself with a pink fur wrap, Nick added: "Platforms like Instagram reward bold, eye-catching imagery, and celebrities know that sexiness cuts through the noise.
"The algorithm favours posts that people stop scrolling for, and a glamorous or provocative photo is one of the fastest ways to generate engagement, headlines and conversation."
Meanwhile, Nick noted: "The rise of OnlyFans has also shifted the culture. It's normalised the idea that sex appeal can be a business strategy as well as a form of self-expression.
"Even celebrities who aren't on the platform have watched how creators monetise desirability and build huge fan communities around confidence and body positivity."
Not only this, but Nick commented on how 2026 is set to be the year of the "curvy girl."
After seeing Kelly Brook soak up the sun in a plunging bikini, Emily Atack strip off for her most sizzling underwear shoot yet and Addison Rae go totally bottomless for a magazine shoot, the expert shared his thoughts.
He observed: "At the same time we're seeing what feels like a real 'curvy girl 2026' moment.
"Stars like the Kardashians, Sydney Sweeney and Addison Rae are proudly embracing their curves and fans are responding to that confidence in a huge way.
"In an era dominated by weight-loss injections and ultra-slim beauty standards, curves suddenly feel rebellious, glamorous and very desirable again."
Meanwhile, as Rhian Sugden put on an eye-popping display and Lando Norris' model ex-girlfriend showed the Formula One star what he was missing in sultry lingerie snaps, it's clear that sexuality on socials is more rife than ever.
Nick explained: "Sexuality has always played a huge role in celebrity branding. Madonna built an empire on provocative reinvention and she still is.
"Britney Spears defined pop sensuality for a generation and Paris Hilton turned glamour and sex appeal into a global brand long before Instagram even existed."
But according to Nick, there's a clear change in 2026 and the celeb snaps that flood our Instagram feeds.
While Helen Flanagan has continued to share more underwear pics than ever, in Nick's opinion, it's become increasingly apparent that celebrities are eager to show off their control.
"What's different now is that celebrities control the narrative. They're directing the image, posting the photo and speaking directly to millions of fans without the filter of magazines," Nick continued.
While we've already seen many of our favourite female celebrities strip off for sultry snaps, Nick claimed that more men are set to join in very soon.
Just days after Lewis Hamilton showed off his shredded physique in a mirror selfie, Nick claimed: "It's not just women leading this moment.
"Male celebrities are becoming far more comfortable leaning into their own sex appeal too, from stars like Dylan Efron posting thirst-trap style images to actors in steamy projects like Heated Rivalry, and even across fashion week runways where male sensuality is being celebrated more openly than ever.
"It's no surprise 2026 is shaping up to be one of the sexiest years in celebrity culture we've seen in a long time."
