THE View has announced the impressive lineup of celebrities called in to co-host while Alyssa Farah Griffin is on maternity leave.
She recently got emotional as her co-stars, Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, Joy Behar, and Sarah Haines, gathered to celebrate her impending bundle of joy with a baby shower.
Alyssa, 36, is being replaced with several beloved celebrity replacement hosts during her maternity leave from The View, according to Deadline.
Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Abby Huntsman will kick things off, followed by Amanda Carpenter, Sheryl Underwood, Whitney Cummings, and Savannah Chrisley.
Celebrity guest hosts will begin appearing on the show on February 17, esxecutive producer Brian Teta told the outlet.
He said that The View team was intentional in their co-host selections, saying that they were "all about a different point of view at the table," and bringing in people "who are good at this job or who have the potential to be good at this job."
Brian added that differing perspectives is not just about politics, but a range of topics discussed on The View.
"They are big shoes to fill," he said of Alyssa's role on the show.
She will make her final appearance on the show on February 13.
SHOWERED WITH LOVE
The View hosts held a baby shower for Alyssa during Tuesday's episode of the daytime talk show.
She was treated to surprise videos from those closest to her, which left her emotional.
She broke down with her husband sitting next to her, as she gushed about the love and support from her inner circle.
Fighting back tears, she said: "I'm so grateful, honestly. They say it takes a village and just knowing I have such a wonderful village at this table, this amazing husband, and my family and friends, I mean - that means so much to me."
The View cast raised glasses of non-alcoholic drinks in celebration, with Whoopi leading the toast: "Here's to health, happiness, and lots of love. A little bit of sleep, and lots of laughs."
Joy added: "And more babies!"
Alyssa and her husband Justin Griffin announced that they were expecting their first child together in October.
They were able to get pregnant after five rounds of IVF.
Their baby is due in February.
