A Place In The Sun's Scarlette Douglas has bravely opened up about her eating disorder battle - and how her stint on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here triggered old body image thoughts.
The 38-year-old, who was a property expert on the Channel 4 show between 2015 and 2022, appeared on the twenty second series of I'm A Celebrity in 2022 alongside the likes of Jill Scott, Owen Warner and Matt Hancock.
Each year, the group of famous faces taking part staying in the Australian jungle tend to lose weight due to the small amount of food that they eat during between trials.
In an honest and open chat with The Mirror, Scarlette spoke about how taking part brought up old feelings.
Scarlette, who has starred in productions such as Hairspray and I Can't Sing!, bravely said: 'It's something that's been drilled into me from all those years ago, I feel like I'm overweight.
'Even when I did [I'm A Celeb] I was like: I can't believe I'm going on that show. OK, no make-up. Fine. I'll get over that, but being as big as I am, I cannot wait to get on there, eat rice and beans and lose a stone.'
The presenter explained that her body dysmorphia started when she was a teenager while she attended performing arts college.

She and her classmates would get weighed each month, and if they gained any weight, they would have to go on a diet.
Scarlette added to the publication: 'It was horrendous and you look back and you think, oh my gosh, how impressionable we are as young people to have those above us that we put in high regard telling us that we're too fat or telling us X, Y, Z.
'So I ended up getting an eating disorder and even to this day I still struggle with my weight.'
Scarlette was the second celebrity to be eliminated from the show back in 2022, shortly behind ITV's Charlene Douglas.
The likes of Sue Cleaver, Boy George, Chris Moyle, Mike Tindal, Seann Walsh and Babatúndé Aléshé also took part in the series.
Scarlette has taken part in a number of telly shows over the years, while appearing on A Place In The Sun, and many after.
During her stint on the property programme she took part in Points of View, The One Show and was a guest presenter on Jeremy Vine.
She is also a presenter on Love It or List It, George Clarke's Flipping Fast and Worst House on the Street.

It comes after Scarlett revealed that she's hoping to tie the knot with her boyfriend Kyle Murray ahead of their big move to Dubai.
She is now hoping to set up her own in the UAE as it's a 'safer' place to start a family.
Until recently, Scarlette had kept the identity of her boyfriend a secret, but she finally shared his name in a gushing post to celebrate Valentine's Day earlier this month.
Now, she has shared that while they are not yet engaged, Kyle knows the ring she'd like to have when they decide to marry in the future.
The star has previously shared her hopes of becoming a mother one day, and in 2024, she made the decision to freeze her eggs.
She said: 'He already knows what ring I want. Living together, we're looking to do it in June, so he's going to start renting out his place because his place is smaller than mine.
'And then obviously we're going to be going to Dubai together in September /October time.
'He's actually asked me what sort of ring I would like, so he knows which is great. He's never been married before, no kids.
'He wants marriage, he wants kids. I've always said I want to get married in Jamaica because my parents are from there.
'His parents are from Jamaica, so that is that ticked. We're doing our guest list from now so the minute he says ''will you marry me'' and I say ''yes'' I'm on it but that's because I used to be a bridal consultant.
'I'm like ''this is who is going to be the chef, this is who is going to be the DJ''. I think I manifested him because I literally wrote down a list of exactly who I wanted in my life.
'He literally just walked into my life and he's everything that I asked for, it's crazy.'
Scarlette then shared her plans to ditch the UK and start a new life with Kyle in Dubai in the coming months, saying: 'I'm looking to move to Dubai later on in the year. My partner has just got offered a job over there he used to live there many moons ago so we're looking to go over there.
'I want to open a stage school there so I can give back to the young kids and maybe even open a gym there because my partner is in fitness.
'So Dubai will be great because it's so safe for children.'
