Last year, Lucy headed to the Scottish Highlands to take part in the first series of Celebrity Traitors, which was won by Alan Carr. Lucy was selected as a Faithful by Claudia Winkleman, but was eventually murdered in a face-to-face killing by Traitors Alan, Cat Burns, and Jonathan Ross.
Lucy is set to appear on Saturday Kitchen later today (May 2). The latest episode of the show, hosted by Matt Tebbutt, will also feature chefs Vivek Singh and Donna Hay, as well as wine expert Olly Smith. Ahead of her appearance on Saturday Kitchen, fans may be surprised to learn that Lucy has a very famous mum and ex-husband.
The mother-daughter duo will be working together once again, as Lucy revealed earlier this year that she would be piloting a travel show with her mum. The series is said to be in development, but has yet to be picked up.
Many fans will know that Lucy was married to fellow comedian Jon Richardson, after they were introduced by their friend Roisin Conaty. After dating for two years, the couple exchanged vows in April 2015. Their daughter, Elsie, was born in 2016 via an emergency C-section - a harrowing experience that left Lucy fearing for her life.
Lucy and Jon notably starred together in Meet the Richardsons, with the couple playing a fictionalised version of themselves. The show, which ran for five series, seemingly concluded after the couple's split in April 2024.
The comedic duo announced the end of their nine-year marriage, leaving fans stunned. When asked about the split, Lucy said: "People might think I should talk about it because we were so public and everyone knew us as a couple, but I won't, and not because there's any animosity. We both agreed that while it might be weird for other people not hearing about it, we wouldn't talk about anything to do with the marriage or each other."
Six celebrities, each with little to no pottery experience, will brave the clay and take to the wheel in a series of bold ceramic challenges. Lucy will appear alongside Fatiha El-Ghorri, Richard Herring, Paul Merson, Layton Williams, and Denise Van Outen.
In a twist on the much-loved original format, there will be no weekly elimination. Instead, the six celebrity contestants will immerse themselves in the pottery studio, learning and developing their skills over five episodes under the guidance of judges Keith Brymer Jones and Rich Miller. The celebs will compete for points in each challenge in the hope of earning a place in the grand final, where just one of them will be announced as the winner.
