JOE MARLER has predicted Danny Dyer 'will be the new Alan Carr' on Celebrity Traitors as he begs bosses to sign up for the second series.
The former rugby union player, 35, appeared on the first series last year, that saw Alan win the show as a Traitor and see a huge resurgence in his career post the show.
There's been plenty of speculation about which stars will take part in the BBC One show for the second instalment and the former EastEnders star's name has been doing the rounds.
Speaking about the rumours, Joe exclusively told The Sun: "If it is some of those names, it will be great fun.
"Whoever goes in there as long as they are there to play the game and they make it still a game show as opposed to a reality show then its just great to watch.
"I love it. I love the normal one, the celeb one. It's just great fun.
"If Danny Dyer is on it he will be unbelievable. Absolute box office.
"He could have the potential to do another Alan Carr where everyone loves him so even if they do think he's a traitor they're not bothered because they're like, this is a bit of fun, he's a geezer.
"David Mitchell would be great. He would be so dry and so difficult to read in there. He would be great fun. I'd like to see all three of them on there. (Danny, Alison Hammond and David)."
Danny reportedly turned down the first series last year but is said to have had a change of heart after watching the likes of Celia Imrie and Stephen Fry in the castle.
A source previously told The Sun: "Danny was always top of The Celebrity Traitors wish list but had zero interest until seeing the fun and games last autumn.
"As soon as his tune changed, it was all systems go.
"Danny is a reality TV booker's dream signing and will be incredible value, as he's naturally funny but in a totally different way to Alan Carr.
"Bosses don't want to repeat the same formula and he'll be absolute gold. As we saw with Daisy May Cooper for series one, things can change at the last minute, but Danny looks all set to join filming up in the Highlands later this year."
A BBC spokesman said last month: "We're not commenting on speculation but details about series two of The Celebrity Traitors will be announced in due course."
Beavertown partnered with suicide prevention charity Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) to launch 'Tell a Mate Why You Love Them'.
Fronted by real life friends Joe Marler and Capital Breakfast host Chris Stark, the nationwide campaign challenges men to get past the discomfort and say how they really feel.
Joe surprised Chris with a public declaration of love by rolling down an 8 by 10 metre sign over the side of the Wallis Road bridge in Hackney Wick, close to London's iconic Olympic Park.
Beavertown's research shows that two thirds of men (67%) think their mental health would benefit if they were able to open up more to their mates, and Joe's declaration serves as a rallying cry to men everywhere to step beyond the awkwardness and tell their friends what they mean to them.
And Joe admits the campaign helped him check in with himself following the hype and eventual comedown after his success in The Celebrity Traitors.
Joe says: "This campaign was good because it made me go, hang on, am I alright?
"It made me sit down and think, hang on, I've only been retired a year and a bit now, it's been all a bit crazy for me the last few months and I've been caught in the wave and it gave me the first opportunity to sit down and go, right, what's going on in my life then?
"'Where am I at? What am I doing? Who am I? Where are the kids at? Where's my wife at? It gave me that chance."
