The former Gogglebox star revealed the happy news in a joint social media post with partner Scott Dobinson
Scarlett Moffatt was seen in tears before she announced she was pregnant with her second child. The former Gogglebox star revealed the news in a joint post with partner Scott Dobinson.
Scarlett, who is currently appearing in the all-star series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, ITV's I'm A Celebrity... South Africa, shared the happy news on Instagram on Monday (April 20) evening, after she tearfully posted on her Story that she had some news that she thought would 'never happen again'.
For the announcement, the reality star and her partner were joined by their son, Jude, who held a personalised newspaper with a headline saying: "Baby Dobinson another miracle coming soon!"
Alongside the post, the couple said: "We honestly can't believe we're writing this... After everything, we feel unbelievably lucky to be able to say... our family is growing. One little miracle gave us Jude, and now he's going to be a big brother.
"And if there's one thing we know for certain, it's that he is going to be the most amazing big brother. We are so grateful, so excited, and still a little bit in shock... Our hearts are fuller than we ever thought possible."
The comment section was flooded with messages of support including from fellow I'm A Celebrity campmates. TV personality Gemma Collins said: "Omg congratulations. So happy for you both." Pussycat Dolls member Ashley Roberts added: "So happy for you and your beautiful family. Jude has the voice of an angel. Love you girl."
Scarlett won the 2016 series of the hit ITV reality show filmed in Australia and has now returned to camp for its all-star spin-off alongside Olympian Sir Mo Farah, actress Beverley Callard and former football manager Harry Redknapp, which was pre-recorded last year but is currently being aired.
During her appearance on I'm A Celebrity, Scarlett spoke about her and Scott's earlier difficulties when it came to trying for a baby. She said: "We tried for a long time and had some losses, and it's not nice, is it. And because no one talks about it, you think something is wrong with you."
She also said: "After Jude was born, we tried again and got quite far on and miscarried," before adding: "I remembered Scott's mum and dad took Jude for the day, and me and Scott just laid in bed crying. It was awful."
