The ITV reality show returns next month with 12 celebrities competing to be crowned a Legend in South Africa
The countdown is nearly complete as the eagerly awaited second series of I'm A Celebrity...South Africa draws closer following a brief break.
Next month, devotees of the ITV programme will witness some recognisable personalities from the reality show journey to South Africa to face the Bushtucker Trials and unsettling critters yet again.
Yet, ahead of the series' official launch, enthusiasts will be given an exclusive first look at what lies in store.
On March 30, at 8:25pm, a special three-minute teaser will be shown on ITV1 and STV, scheduled to appear between Emmerdale and Coronation Street.
With assurances of it being the 'most thrilling' series in recent memory, audiences will catch a preview of the adventure the 12 celebrities will undertake, reports the Express.
A synopsis states: "The stakes are incredibly high, as celebrities compete to be crowned a Legend, challenging themselves in some of the most epic and extreme trials in I'm A Celebrity... history.
"Hosted by the award-winning Ant & Dec, this all-star version of the iconic I'm A Celebrity... format brings back a new bunch of celebrity campmates to test themselves in brand-new trials and challenges in the South African wilderness."
In a departure from previous years, however, viewers will have the power to choose who they wish to crown as the ultimate Legend, rather than the outcome being determined by head-to-head trials as before.
Following weeks of viewers watching the celebrities tackle camp life and brave nerve-wracking trials, the public will deliver their verdict in a live grand final transmitted from London.
The line-up was announced earlier this month, with fans set to see Adam Thomas, Ashley Roberts, Scarlett Moffatt, David Haye, Beverley Callard, Seann Walsh and Sinitta heading into the jungle.
The series will also feature Sir Mo Farah, Gemma Collins, Craig Charles, Jimmy Bullard and Harry Redknapp.
Prior to the pre-recorded programme being broadcast, Harry Redknapp, who claimed victory in 2018, appeared on This Morning earlier this month to discuss why he opted to return.
He remarked: "I really enjoyed it, everybody in there was lovely, I was lucky they were all nice people."
