Khloe Kardashian has sparked outrage after sharing pics of her family's lavish Easter celebration. And all are asking the same thing about Kim.
For the average kid, Easter means grass-stained knees, begging parents for just one more piece of chocolate, and the inevitable sibling squabble over the last melted foiled egg hidden under grandma's frangipani tree. It's chaotic, sticky, and delightfully normal.
Then, there are the Kardashians.
While regular families are perfectly happy with whatever bargain finds the Easter bunny found at The Reject Shop, Hollywood's most famous reality family wouldn't dare.
Wrapping up this year's Easter celebrations, Khloe Kardashian took to Instagram to share some highlights from the special day.
"He is Rise️n - Happy Resurrection Day" she captioned the carousel of images.
The mum-of-two was quickly slammed by online trolls for being tone deaf as she showed off her "strange" and "excessive" family celebration while so many families in the world are struggling.
"So much waste. So much material destined for the landfills or the ocean," one person kicked off the theme.
"It's hard to ignore how excessive this is, especially in a world where so many are struggling. Feels so disconnected from reality. There's a fine line between celebrating success and
glorifying waste," another commented.
And another echoed: "Ppl are struggling to pay for gas and groceries and they post this."
Before we go on, let's break down the gifts the children attending the celebrations received - all perfectly modelled with Khloe's children - daughter True and son Tatum - beside each gift.
First there's a giant chocolate bunny for each little guest perfectly gift wrapped in clear cellophane. Adding to that is what appears to be personalised gift baskets for each child. Labelled with their names painted, the boxes are filled with a generous range of plushies and toys.
And just in case that wasn't enough to keep the kiddies entertained, the tables were also adorned with activities to keep them occupied - including cake and cookie decorating stations. Yes, there was an egg hunt only it also featured a giant golden egg with goodies inside.
I'll be honest, this is a party I wouldn't mind attending. But for others, it was all a bit too much.
"It all looks so nice but I don't understand why it always has to be at such magnitude of things. Just thinking of all the waste ... really not sustainable living in any way shape or form," someone pointed out on the post.
"It's just hard to watch the Extravagance when so many families are struggling," another agreed.
The extravagance also extended to the guest list.
While Khloe flaunted her toned physique in a figure-hugging polka-dot set and heels, big sister Kim dialled the drama up a notch, attending the celebrations in what appeared to be a ball gown fit for the Oscars (if only she was actually invited...)
"Why is Kim in a gown at family Easter?" one person asked.
"Where was Kim going?" another joked, along with plenty others wondering the same thing.
