The Prime Video murder mystery returns with an investigation into crocodile showmen
In my experience, there are two responses when you bring up Prime Video's "Deadloch": total bewilderment, and great joy. The series, a darkly comedic Australian murder mystery, is about a pair of mismatched cops solving homicides together. Season 1 debuted in 2023; season 2 started streaming in its entirety at the end of March.
If you haven't started your "Deadloch" journey, here's what you should know: The two crime solvers are Dulcie Collins (Kate Box, one of three people named Kate involved in making the show; it was created by Kates McCartney and McLennan) and Eddie Redcliffe (Madeleine Sami). Dulcie is the by-the-books one who likes to stick to the rules, and Eddie is the wild card constantly getting them into trouble.
