According to an emotional family statement, Norris died yesterday morning in Kauai, Hawaii. The family are keeping circumstances private but assured fans that "he was surrounded by his family and was at peace."
Norris' final public communication came just days earlier in an Instagram post celebrating his birthday on March 10. The action icon wrote, "I don't age. I level up." for his 86th birthday. He uploaded a video of himself saying this while practicing boxing, impressively without a helmet.
In the caption, he wrote:
