Beverley Callard accidentally let slip when the final of I'm A Celebrity...South Africa will air. ITV recently announced the second series of ITV's I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! spin-off show set in South Africa, which will arrive on screens next month. The 68-year-old actress has confirmed she is taking part, and also revealed the date of the final.
The South Africa spin-off sees memorable contestants from previous seasons live in harsh conditions and take on the gruesome challenges again. Beverley - who took part in the 2020 series of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! when it was filmed in North Wales instead of Australia due to the COVID-19 pandemic - initially kept tight-lipped when asked for details on her upcoming appearance.
She has been sharing regular updates after being diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer earlier this year.. The actress has been updating fans on different aspects of her personal life, including hospital visits and check-ups.
Appearing on an episode of The Hard Shoulder podcast, Beverley spoke in more detail about her stint on I'm A Celebrity... South Africa. She said: "I don't know if I'm allowed to talk about this yet. But you obviously know. Yep, I was shooting it in South Africa. And I can't tell you more than that."
After host Shane Colman noted that the weather was "a bit better" during production of I'm A Celebrity...South Africa - filmed in Kruger National Park - Beverley accidentally let slip when the show's finale will air.
The Coronation Street star said: "Oh, the weather was great. But the final is on the 24th of April. So it's all still to come."
I'm A Celebrity...South Africa will start on April 6 and ITV has already confirmed that the programme will air weeknights for three weeks.

The campmates have already proved that they can survive the Australian jungle, but the South African trials are said to be tougher than ever.

There will be an exciting new element for this second series of I'm A Celebrity... South Africa. The public will have the power to decide who is crowned the 2026 winner.
Viewers will be able to have their say and cast the final vote in a live grand final broadcast direct from London.
Speaking about the viewer vote, co-host Declan Donnelly, 50, said: "Having a live final is an exciting addition to the new series with the viewers choosing their IAC Legend and we've heard some of the new trials are truly epic, even by I'm A Celeb ... standards!"
The debut series of I'm A Celebrity...South Africa aired in 2023, and saw the likes of former professional boxer Amir Khan, 39, TV personality Gillian McKeith, 66, former EastEnders actor Joe Swash, 44, and ex-Countdown star Carol Vorderman, 65, battle it out for survival.
TV presenter Myleene Klass, 47, was crowned the winner and named the first I'm A Celebrity...Legend.
Co-host Ant McPartlin, 50, was thrilled to hear I'm A Celebrity...South Africa had been recommissioned.
He said: "The campmates really brought their A-game to the first series, so we can't wait to be back for more trials, challenges and surprises amongst the beautiful South African landscape."
