The I'm A Celebrity... South Africa final erupted into chaos. The eagerly-awaited spin-off returned to screens on Friday (April 24), as Adam Thomas, Mo Farah, Craig Charles and Harry Redknapp competed fiercely to be crowned the ultimate I'm A Celeb legend.
This followed Scarlett Moffatt narrowly missing out on a place in the final four, becoming the last contestant to be eliminated in South Africa after a trial on Thursday (April 23). While the main series was pre-recorded in September, Friday's final was broadcast live from London, with Ant and Dec at the helm. All four finalists were in attendance, alongside the majority of the eliminated stars, including Ashley Roberts, Seann Walsh, Gemma Collins, and Sinitta.
It has been a dramatic series packed with twists and turns, particularly surrounding Waterloo Road and Emmerdale star Adam. The actor was thrust firmly into the spotlight amid a "bullying" row with David Haye, which the latter flatly denied. He subsequently found himself embroiled in a heated confrontation with Jimmy Bullard during a trial, reports Wales Online.

Viewers were left divided when the pair clashed after Jimmy chose to abandon the Rancid Run trial, forcing both himself and his partner Adam to face elimination.
Adam was seen shouting at Jimmy, before later breaking down in tears when his fellow campmates opted to allow him to remain in camp. Several of Adam's fellow campmates have since spoken out about the altercation, with many claiming that the full footage was never broadcast. ITV had previously released a statement maintaining that they had aired an accurate portrayal of the confrontation between Adam and Jimmy.
The controversy was addressed during the live final, with Jimmy explaining that he had selected Adam believing the trial was for stars, not an elimination challenge.
He then said: "I absolutely threw him under the bus, I get it. I'll wear that. But what I don't stand on is someone being abusive, aggressive and intimidating. I don't stand on it.... You didn't show none of the C-bombs."

Ant then hit back at the star, saying: "I was there and I didn't think it was intimidating. I was there, Jim."
"I take full responsibility for my actions, yes, emotions were definitely running high in that moment. I've got nothing but love for Jimmy," Adam replied, with David interjecting: "Lovely way of showing it."
The row continued, with Dec saying: "David, you weren't even there! Keep out of this!" As tensions reached boiling point, Gemma and Sinitta walked off as Jimmy and David continued to demand that the unedited footage be aired.

Speaking previously about the moment Jimmy forfeited the trial, Adam explained: "It was just really random and unexpected to be honest. I didn't see it coming. Safe to say, I don't think I was too happy about it.
"The fact I felt like I was leaving because of someone else just really broke my heart more than anything as I wanted to do my kids proud. Emotions can get the better of you in there and in hindsight, I probably would never have reacted the way I did but I was just really upset."
Following the explosive and chaotic live final, Adam was crowned the winner. However, viewers couldn't help but notice Adam appearing somewhat downbeat in the wake of the heated exchanges in the studio.
